Design, build, & explore! A summer camp for elementary students led by certified CTE & Science teachers.
Our program is crafted specifically for elementary students entering grades 3-6, welcoming learners of all levels—from beginners curious about robotics to those preparing for upcoming VEX IQ competitions. The curriculum is led by experienced, certified middle school science teachers who bring years of expertise in VEX IQ robotics, having managed over 100 teams and taken teams to VEX Worlds each year. Our educators' deep passion for science and engineering shines through, creating an inspiring and engaging environment where young minds can thrive.
Our camp features VEX IQ robotic kits, offering students an immersive and hands-on curriculum that sparks curiosity and creativity. Through engaging projects, students dive into key concepts like design, problem-solving, programming, and engineering fundamentals, gaining valuable skills and confidence in a fun, collaborative environment.
Our mission is to ignite a passion for robotics in our students through an engaging, hands-on program. We aim to go beyond teaching skills; we want students to truly enjoy the experience, sparking curiosity and excitement for science and technology. The world needs more innovators and bold thinkers, and our goal is to inspire these qualities in every student we reach.
Pendulums, Pulleys, Levers, Gears, Gear Ratios, and the First Challenge.
Standard drive base, object manipulation, lifting mechanism, robot optimization, and the Robot Tournament.
Introduction to autopilot, sensors, and programming basics.
Sensor integration, and programming autonomous tasks.
Robot optimization, games, and the Challenge Event.
Students should bring snacks and lunches for each day. Chromebooks are provided for programming however a student can bring their own computer but it will need VEX Code IQ installed. Advanced students who are working on a competition robot should bring their kit and robot.
Our first camp will be June 23rd through June 27th 2025 and will be held
